Biography

Acid Snot is a 4-piece Tech Melodic Punk band from Barcelona, Catalunya. After a 5-year break with all of its members scattered around the globe, they are back with new music in 2023. Fast yet bouncy, with songs full of vocal harmonies, dual guitar leads, metal riffs and pop punk/metalcore drum beats, their sound is influenced by bands such as A Wilhelm Scream, Counterparts, Belmont, Thousand Oaks or The Contortionist, blending their melodic punk roots with djent, pop punk, alternative rock, metalcore or urban music/trap. Their lyrics draw on the imagery and narrative of both modern introspective emo and political punk rock. In the past, they released an EP (Hometown, 2013) and a full-length (Attitudes, 2016), and have played several shows and festivals around Spain, the UK and Europe, such as Punk Rock Holiday, KNRD fest, Shredfest or ETGL, sharing bill with bands like The Offspring, A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, Antiflag, Ignite, Pennywise, The Toy Dolls, Get Dead, Not on Tour, Darko, Antillectual, Madball or Trash Boat, amongst others.
