Biography

A lover of all styles of music and a true believer in the healing power of music, Austin Grimm has been writing and singing songs since the age of ten. He spent the last decade as the leader of the nationally touring band Roots of a Rebellion (or ROAR) based out of Nashville, TN who heavily toured the U.S. and released a #1 Billboard Reggae Album called "Shapes of a Soul” in 2019. Since the band’s hiatus, Austin has been collaborating with friends in the scene he spent years with on the road such as Mellodose, Sun-Dried Vibes, TreeHouse!, The Elovaters, Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, KNEX and more. Inspired and uplifted by his family, friends, and fans, Austin has been able to carve his own unique path that combines his passions of music, nature and education through shows, jobs and events such as “Reggae on the River” where Austin serenades kayakers on the serene and pristine rivers of Tennessee. His most recent release “Good Vibes Keep Me Alive” with Mellodose received the most streams and playlist ads to date and Lt. Dan from Nashville's Lightning100 radio station made Austin's newest song “Unconditional Love” his DJ pick of the week February, 14th, 2023!
