South Coast UK Quartet; MAYPINE are a band focused on pushing the envelope and grappling with a wide array of seemingly conflicting musical influences. At the same time, their formula remains catchy and approachable, seamlessly connecting with alt-rock fans while also bringing an innovative spirit to the genre. Hailing from Brighton, this four-piece are all about bringing energy and technique to the audience without compromising on the visceral authenticity of the songs. From monolithic drum patterns to nuanced bass lines and guitars that cut through the mix like a blade through melting butter, the band's sound has a special kind of drive to it, enhanced further by the intensity of the vocals. Having gigged extensively and shared stages with internationally regarded acts such as Silverstein, Hail The Sun and As It Is, among others, MAYPINE quickly put their stamp on the UK Alt-Rock scene, with outlets such as Kerrang!, Alt Press and Rocksound anointing them as a band on the ascendency. With new music coming in 2022, MAYPINE are looking forward to reminding everyone exactly what they’re capable of.
