Biography

Diarra Sylla is a French-Senegalese singer, dancer & model based in Los Angeles. She won the Sen P’tit Gallé (among the most important singing contests in all of Africa) at the age of 15. She is notably the first member chosen by entertainment entrepreneur Simon Fuller (who created the Idols television format & managed the Spice Girls, amongst others) to be a lead member & primary vocalist in the 14-member global pop group Now United. In 2020, Diarra left Now United to begin her solo artist journey. While her multi-faceted talents have yielded endeavors in dancing and modeling, Diarra has always focused foremost on her singing as her most organic form of self expression. Diarra’s latest forms of expression came to us with three fresh singles - “Ain’t Worried” (with Bruno Martini & Luisa Sonzo), “Set Free”, “Catch A Vibe”, and most recently “Contagious” (produced by JayUncut) released April 1, 2022 . Though Diarra was born in Paris, France she was raised in Dakar, Senegal where she discovered her love of singing at the age of six. Growing up, Diarra learned and now speaks three languages fluently (French, Wolof and English), which has allowed her brand to reach a multinational audience. Diarra is looking to take the music industry by storm with her trifecta of talent giving her seamlessly endless potential. This includes plenty of new music as well as other exciting collaborations in fashion, television, and acting.
