Biography

Emerging from a musical family of professional singers, Yianna Terzis relocated from Greece to the U.S. nine years ago, and worked her way into the studio with Grammy awarded and nominated notables, determined to develop her skills as a songwriter and a vocalist. She released her first official English single titled "Love Is Your Name" which hit iTunes and started bubbling in the underground clubs of NYC. This prompted Yianna to begin performing in New York to create her foundation in the US. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she ended up working as a Talent Scouter for the Vice President of A&R of Epic Records and then Interscope Records, two of the biggest record labels in the world to broaden her knowledge of the industry and expand the circle of musical connections and collaborations (Red One, R City, Dr. Luke and many more) Yianna is no newbie to being exposed. She has performed in front of thousands for years. At a young age, Yianna was inspired by ground breaking artists such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson. With attaining a degree in Theory of Music, she pursued her dream of becoming a professional singer and was quickly signed to Universal Music Greece.
