Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, 616 was born in 2018 by Singer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist/Visionary, Matthew Lidwin, driven to perfect the Gothic Rock and Love Metal genre, hand selecting members to carry out the band duties. This year, Lidwin began a new chapter to 616 including; Bryan Belleau on Guitars (Gates of Winter, Woods of Ypres) Steven Angelo Furgiuele on Bass Guitar (Gates of Winter, Woods of Ypres) Steven Wolf on Drums (EDEN) 616 collaborated with artists such as Bam Margera, Gas Lipstick (HIM) Bryan Belleau, and Steve Furgiuele (Gates of Winter, Woods of Ypres). 616 collaborated with producers such as; John Fryer (NIN, HIM, Depeche Mode), Chad I. Ginsburg of CKY, and Eric Labrosse of Cherry Pit Studios. Lidwin signed on with the legendary Cleopatra Records, releasing multiple hits! “One Way to Love”, "Cinderella Valentine“, "Blood and Silver and Gold“, "Type O Negative cover “Everything Dies”, Elvis Presley's “Always on my mind” and many more! Coming soon, a long-awaited album titled “Head Over Evil Heels”. Early February of 2023, 616 entered the Legendary Sun Studios in Memphis TN, and recorded where Rock N Roll was born, with producer Daniel Crockett Hall, within the walls where Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, BB King, Jerry Lewis, and many more pioneered the blueprints for Rock and Roll. 616 recorded a 4-song EP out now on all major streaming platforms everywhere!
