The Salvation Army has used music to reach people´s hearts and motivate to do good for more than 130 years and now in more than 130 countries worldwide. "Why should the devil have all the good music", founder William Booth is famously quoted, and it has sparked a willingness to seek hearts through different types of music, both inside and beyond the movement. Both a registrered church and charity, The Salvation Army has an active engagement and relation to the music industry, and is very grateful for all the gifted and warm-hearted artists who contribute to the work through releasing Christmas albums and other music in cooperation with The Salvation Army. "Frelsesarmeen" is the Norwegian branch of The Salvation Army.
