Biography

Hailing from Tampa, FL, Cold Steel is a crossover metal unit that is out to crush the world with their fast-paced thrash beats, bludgeoning riffs, and gnarly death metal breakdowns, making Cold Steel a force to be reckoned with. Cold Steel was formed at Gaspar’s Grotto in the year 2020, by Jose Menéndez & Rafael Carbonell. Together, they formed a team of crossover bandits out to take over the metal world by storm. They released their debut EP, “Will of Spiritual Cleansing” in the year 2021, which caught the eyes of metal fans almost immediately. After 2 years of playing shows across Florida, they returned to Swamp Sound Studios to write their second hellish EP, “Deeper Into Great Pain”, which was released Friday, January the 13th, 2023.
