Biography

Gentlebeing is a band out of Eugene, Oregon. The foundation of the band was set when guitarists Alex Goodwin and Bodhi Lenox met in high school in 2016 and began collaborating. Gentlebeing officially formed in late 2019, with vocalist Emma Nagel and drummer Isaac Luger joining. Aidan Goodwin joined as bassist in late 2022. 
 In 2020, still finding their sound, they recorded their debut EP “Magic on the Earth” at Echohill Studios in Portland, OR. The aim of Gentlebeing’s sound is to make heavy rock music sound pretty, with influences ranging from emo and shoegaze, to indie, pop, and R&B. Their most recent project was the single pack “Love Lost + Love Gained” in late 2021. After a short hiatus ending in Spring 2022, Gentlebeing is now playing shows in the PNW DIY house show scene, as well local professional venues such as Eugene’s WOW Hall. In addition to performing, they are working on a new project set to release in the near future.
