Biography
Workforce is the solo alias of Jack Stevens; formerly of UK Drum & Bass duo, @SpectraSoul Since his first outing in May 2019, Workforce has carved out a striking identity. There are values, details, tones and characteristics that set his work apart from anyone else's. This singularity is of course underpinned by a sense of function; a thread that connects all of his output - regardless of the style. With his own imprint, Must Make Music, being the home for much of his output, Workforce has also released on labels such as Exit Records, Critical Music, and 1985 Music. 2022 saw the release of his debut album, 'Set & Setting', which was widely considered one of 2022's best albums within the genre, garnering support and plaudits from the scenes key tastemakers and outlets, with the album tour taking Jack as far as New Zealand and beyond. In 2023, to make the one year anniversary, Workforce returned with 4 stunning remixes of tracks from the album from a diverse selection of the best producers in the UK.
