Biography

Lance Priester, a 27-year-old Dutch artist, makes music that is not genre defined. Lance grew up in a small village in France where he found his passion for music at an early age. He is a very openminded free spirit with experiences that have shaped his musical journey and contributed to his distinctive sound. Lance is a very diverse and multi-talented artist who’s voice has the power to leave you breathless and send shivers down your spine. Inspired by film composers, artists such as Tamino and Muse, as well as sounds from the EDM genres, he combines his emotional lyrics and gives you a glimpse into his inner world. With his live band, named Coeur (the French word for "heart"), Lance performers his self-produced music and together they won de Grote Prijs van Nederland 2023. It is the longest running live music competition in the Netherlands which focuses on quality, diversity, and authenticity. His recently released live song ‘Waiting on You’ (2023) is a clear indication of the path he is on which will soon be followed by more.
