    Biography

    Paolo Rossini aka Sarma was born in Parma in 1960. Graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Parma in timpani and percussions, he studied piano, conducting and composition, working as an assistant director with the masters Piero Guarino, GianFranco Masini, Angelo Campori. Drummer at the Arena di Verona Orchestra since 1979, he’s been a teacher at the Conservatory of Bologna and collaborated with some of the most important Italian orchestras such as: La Scala in Milan; RAI on Milan, Turin, Naples, City of Florence; Arturo Toscanini, Orchestra of Pauda, Orchestra Internazionale, and played in some of the most impotrant Italian and international music festivals. From his early age he plays a variety of different genres from pop to jazz. He becomes a music producer and in his studio in Parma, he works on pop music, dance, techno, chill out, and more. The last 10 years, he released over a hundred individual singles with labels such as: Cool d:vision (Energy Production), Sony BMG, Warner Music, Universal Music, Carosello, and more He co-written with Mario Fargetta the song “Good Time”, produced Platinette’s album “C’est si bon”, remixed Pupo’s hit “Su di noi” and arranged tracks by Lando Fiorini & Gina Lollobrigida. He has collaboarted with pop artists such as: Gianna Nannini, Nomadi, Ligabue, Milva, Ornet Coleman, Jackie Perkins… His tracks appeared on top compilation as: Buddha Bar, Hitmania, Deejay Parade, Le Iene, Il Grande Fratello…
