Biography
M!ndgames is a Belgian Progressive Rock band which is based in the Flemish part of the country. The band was founded in 1997 by Eric Vandormael (Bass) and Bart Schram (vocals). Benny Petak (Drums) and Tom Truyers (Keyboards) joined the band soon after. But it lasted until the year 2000 for them to be completed by Rudy Vander Veken (Guitar). In this line-up they released their debut album International Daylight in 2002 which was distributed by Musea Records in France. The follow up, Actors in a Play, came over 4 years later in 2006. It was the first to be produced by Frank Van Bogaert. it is still their most critically acclaimed album to this day and the favorite of many of their fans. Nevertheless, Eric Vandormael will leave the band soon after its release due to irreconcilable musical differences. In 2010 they named their third album MMX according to that year in Roman numerals. Also produced by Frank Van Bogaert, this is the first album where Maximilian von Wüllerstorff appears on bass. Though they've made their statement with Actors in a Play artistically, MMX was a bigger commercial success that broadened their audience. A year later Rudy Vander Veken leaves the band to fulfil his dream in Portugal. Finally in 2015 they found the right man to replace Rudy. With Sandro Starita on guitar, M!ndgames released their fourth album Paradox of Choice. One year later Tom Truyers decides to leave the band. Currently M!ndgames is working on new material.
