Biography

PISK (Roberto Costa), also known as founding­-member of the Swingrowers, is an Italian DJ­/Producer and Sound Engineer from Sicily. Among the many notable remixes and collaborations he has done (either as PISK or Swingrowers) are number 1 album charting multi­platinum Caro Emerald, mega­star Annie Lennox, Island Record's Millie Small (My Boy Lollipop), Jamie Berry, Cut Capers and many more. He currently works with the independent British record label Freshly Squeezed (See the playlist This Is Freshly Squeezed) - "world leaders in putting a modern dance music spin on vintage records". To date Pisk has produced 4 full Albums (2012 / 2014 / 2018 / 2021) and many other EPs, singles and remixes, while his main band continues to go from strength to strength. From opening Parov Stelar, Caravan Palace, Chinese Man, to three US and Canada tours, to increasingly prestigious headline shows across best European Clubs, major UK's Festivals, long tours from Russia to Maldives to India, and even a double sold out at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Japan (2017).
