Every facet of Jade Omari separates her from the pack. From her nuanced vocal delivery to her ethereal aura and upbeat message, the DMV-based singer and songwriter presents a different perspective for pop and R&B. After amassing hundreds of thousands of streams and making waves independently, she instantly distinguishes herself as a one-of-one presence on a series of upcoming releases for NARS Music Group—the label co-founded by legendary engineer Marcella Araica and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Danja [Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado]. Born in Maryland to a Dominican and Cuban mother and Puerto Rican father, she grew up in a big family. Drawing from a rich heritage, she picked up Spanish by speaking to her grandparents. Mom worked as a paralegal by day, but also performed as a singer, songwriter, and rapper. Jade would often accompany her to the studio, absorbing the process at a very young age. Along the way, she listened to everything from OutKast, Sade, and Erykah Badu to India.Arie, Coldplay, Paramore, Chris Brown, and Kehlani and devoured books such as the Conversations with God series. She initially gained traction with her first song “Illusion” before increasing her momentum via “No Love” with Fame Reek. After 2020 projects Hard Truth and Believe Me EP, she popped off with “Lost,” amassing 55K Soundcloud streams. Introduced to Danja, she made a trip to Miami, prolifically knocked out three songs per day in the studio, and signed to NARS.
