Music has been described as the strongest form of magic and at 15 years old Young B, surfaced on the music industry when she penned the hit song “Chicken Noodle Soup” with DJ Webstar and created magic. It wasn’t just a “hip hop” catchy hit, it transcended and captivated audiences regardless of background or genre preference. Young B, performed “Chicken Noodle Soup” on prestigious television shows such as Oprah Winfrey, Regis & Kelley, Ellen Degeneres, 106 & Park and Sesame Street. If you didn’t catch those captivating performances on television, no worries, she was performing on major stage platforms such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Apollo Theater and a 76’rs half time show. At 17, she was not only an accomplished international superstar, but performed consistently like a seasoned professional- earning her a “Best Dance Cut” Soul Train Award-for “Chicken Noodle Soup” -now that’s magic. As with all artist, they grow and evolve, and while some who entered into the industry at an early age, succumbed to the pressures and demands, Young B, has stayed the course and emerged on the music scene as a beautiful, feisty and spirited ever as: Bianca Bonnie. Born Bianca Dupree, in Harlem, NY, she has deep grounded roots to her neighborhood. For 26 years Bianca’s family has lived in the same neighborhood in Harlem, rich in history and can be described as an eclectic group of people.
