MONA MUR is known for her unique voice and intense live performance as well as for her soundtracks and collaborations with artists like "Einstürzende Neubauten”, Dieter Meier (YELLO), Grzegorz Ciechowski or EN ESCH of KMFDM fame. Featuring a violently orchestral sound of darkest shades, her songs are to be found in movies such as Fatih Akin's drama "Head On/Gegen die Wand" and in AAA video games such as "Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days". Her upcoming solo album: "DELINQUENT" written and produced together with Ralf GOLDKIND (Lucilectric, Fantastische 4) is a collection of 12 Songs in German, in harsh black & white – 12 short stories, blunt statements, Urban Desperado Style. Beautiful and brutal as the verities of sheer reality, entertaining, danceable and – funny. Partner in crime Ralf Goldkind immediately committed „to finally do the Mona Mur album that I always wanted to do.“ Goldkind‘s hypnotic twang-guitar riffs and minimal electronic loops incited the Elektro Rock’n’Roll style the twosome generated together. Appraised fellow musicians such as Bettina Koster (Malaria!), Anja Huwe (Xmal Deutschland), Annika Line Trost (Cobra Killer), En Esch (KMFDM), Kristof Hahn (SWANS), Rudy Nielson (Gitarrist Nena, Alphaville) contributed to the album as well as, on the visual side, YELLO’s Dieter Meier and the great German Arthouse cinema director ELFI MIKESCH, who shot a video for the first single, “Motorboy”. Art must be like penalty-shootout.
