Biography

The moniker of Eky Rizkani, singer-songwriter and music producer from Jakarta Indonesia. 
 In 2019, he released his first full-length album, Runtuh, Tumbuh. Two years later, the record was followed by learning how not to die, a piano-based EP. In 2022 he released his second full-length album, Water Will Find Me.

 It’s very hard to be honest in life, for we have to protect ourself from grief, sadness, insecurities, financial burden, hunger, loss of other people and loneliness. Art, from what I believe, might be a different case, for it gives me a place, an opportunity to be completely honest. 
 I don’t, and I would never take it for granted. Doing art with complete honesty is a privilege. It’s a blessing, a fuel. It is what makes me want to wake up and go through the day, go to sleep and wake up again. Because being honest feels good, it always does. It brings so much energy. It gives me opportunity to finally feel connected to life, and it gives me hope that there’s a point in living.
