Biography
Thylacine is a fearless experimental French producer known for his progressive sounds and dewy electronic(a). Since his debut album “Transsiberian,” Thylacine has developed a taste for composing through travel, each album that followed was always synonymous with encounters and discoveries. The aim is to combine music and image and to aide us in the discovery and navigate his world through this sonic voyage. While some artists are content to remix their own tracks, buzzing French producer Thylacine takes it to the next level and then some - he enlisted a 74-piece symphony orchestra to re-work his classic “Poly”, originally released as a part of his debut album “Transsiberian.” Breaking down and rebuilding “Poly” along with Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire. National Orchestra and conductor Uèle Lamore, the song takes flight with soaring string arrangements and a grippingly emotional cinematic soundscape. Flawlessly blending electro, ambient and classical elements, “Poly (and 74 Musicians)” is a stunning accomplishment for the already decorated Thylacine. His latest success allowed the young electro prodigy to make a name for himself on the electronic scene after numerous sold out performances across the most prestigious venues and festivals in France, as well as numerous others internationally. On stage he is an intoxicating performer who improvises, and merges to becomes one with his unique musical excursion. He will be back on the road next autumn abroad.
