Biography
Pankerica koja repa na reggae,piše i pjeva o lijepom i onome što nije, a trebalo bi biti. Sassja first appeared with herdemo release in 2010. She received media attention with the song Clash (2014),and a year later she released Etikete in collaboration with Remi (group Elemental),which at the time became a regional hit. After her first album Taktički Praktično regional media recognizes her as "the first woman of Bosnian rap" and "the most significant raggamuffin MC of the region". At the time,the album hit the first places on the present streaming services with millions views on YouTube. Sassja performed at all important festivals and clubs around the region, live performances continue in other EU countries, and Sassja points out that one of her favorite concerts outside the region is the one at the Uprising Reggae Festival in Bratislava in 2016 with the biggest names of the world reggae/dancehall scene. This is followed by a collaboration and tour with the rock group Brkovi, an independent tour, the release of the second album ("No Problemo" 2017) and a guest appearance on the album of the group Zabranjeno Pušenje. Sassja was nominated for MTV EMA as MTV’s Best Adria Act of 2015. After the New Year's concert with Stereo MCs in Šibenik in 2019, Sassja takes a break from concerts and official releases, and retires from public life due to private matter. At the end of 2022, together with Universal Music Croatia announces new singles and an album for the upcoming year.
