Biography
Ladies and Gentlemen, hide your necks... He lives in London where he writes, produces, mixes and masters almost all of his music as well as doing that for other artists too. Even though he is fully independent and self managed, his ruthless DIY approach has allowed him to cultivate a very loyal online following that keeps growing and generating him merch sales and millions of streams accross several streaming platforms as well as dozens of UK and US press publications. All that without a manager or a label. His music truly empowers self-expression and the freedom to do and become whoever one wants to be. NILUM says: 'I always enjoy bringing influence from different horror movies, the supernatural and vampire folklore and I like to talk on the topics that are related to the vast majority of us by using those elements as references, which many times are metaphors for things we can all relate to.' He heavily draws inspiration for his artistic vision from the vampire archetype where he has many times stated having moved to London at the tender age of 466 after making what he calls a pact with the devil to pursue his long concealed passion for music. With dark bewitching heavy 808s, dirty distorted basses intertwined with razor-sharp rock vocals and rap influenced lyricism, he dares to experiment and liberate himself from any music genre constrictions, fusing musical influences from two seemingly very opposed genres, hip-hop and rock.
