Biography

84faces is a duo from the DMV area made up of producer/vocalist Licui and rapper/lyricist Slater the Genius. They met at an open mic in D.C. and a collaboration on one song became the Cuffing Season EP in less than a year. They quickly realized their individual styles blended together to create a unique fusion of alternative hip hop, RnB, and jazz. Their cerebral lyrics and harmonies combine to explore everything from relationships to politics using music as the battleground for their dual perspectives. 84 was recently featured on the Snoop Dogg Presents Death Row Summer 2022 Mixtape, they have opened for artists like Saba and Airospace, and are currently working on their third studio album featuring their latest single Just Like You, produced by Licui.
