Biography

DUNE BLUE treads between psychedelic, surf, indie rock, and reggae. Crafted at the Dune Lagoon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. From the beaches of Long Island, Roland (guitar, vocals, production) began the project in a makeshift studio in his college dorm. Joined by friend Surfer Girl, Dune Blue was able to pick up steam with the single Clocked Out and emerge on the NYC club scene during the summer of ‘22 with four sold out shows. Dune Blue brings a unique live experience to the New York music scene, mixing the punky reggae of West Coast artists like Sublime, Sensi Trails and Dirty Heads with the big sound and indie rock energy of Aussie contemporaries like Sticky Fingers, Ocean Alley and Skegss. The boys are getting ready to release their debut EP in July '23, recorded in Brooklyn and mixed by Callum Howell at Forbes Street Studios in Sydney, Australia.
