The Small Things consists of Mats Melbye, but started out as a duo with partner Alex Eriksson. They both had their own career earlier doing both musicproduction and sharing stages with artists such as Avicii, Zedd, David Guetta, Alesso, Axwell, Steve Angello, Hardwell, Otto Knows, Zara Larsson, Jason Derulo and Steve Aoki. With a multi-platinum selling background the one now behind The Small Things has generated over 200 million streams on Spotify. Their first ever production as a team won a Spinnin' Records remix contest in 2019. Their second production won a Big Beat Records & Atlantic Records remix contest. In 2020 they signed a record deal with TGR Music Group (Sweden) and Alex Eriksson decided to move on to other projects. The first single ever released was "Wake Up Alone" which streamed over 1 million times.
