Biography
Benjamin Antony James shows a clear influence from the weird and wonderful music artists of the generations, wound together into some kind of colorful 'alternative rock' cocktail with hints of pop-punk, and a dash of melancholy. Benjamin Antony James is known to be an avid gamer, and has released various video game cover songs including Oblivion (Shiva's Theme) from the critically acclaimed video game 'Final Fantasy 14' which gained great success on social media, Youtube and Spotify. In 2018, Benjamin announced the release of his first solo album 'The Deep Underground'. The first single We're All Dead Inside was released in the middle of 2018. Prior to the release of the album, Benjamin released 'Without You', his intense cover of Badfinger's classic song, sent to stardom by Mariah Carey and Harry Nilsson. 2020 saw the coming of the COVID-19 pandemic and Benjamin released a cover of Yesterday originally by The Beatles. In 2022, Benjamin released his second solo album Dance of the Dead. Benjamin Antony James also created the album 'Pestmeester' under the alias Hotfoot Jackson, which included songs such as I Can't Be The One, Paper Planes, and Johnny Penguin.
