Biography

The Old Skull Guz is a brazilian garage rock, hard blues band formed in 2016 in Maringá - Brazil. The members are Guz (Guitar, Harmonica and Lead Vocals), Eric Mono (Bass) and Bruno Abreu (Drums), their music is influenced by Delta Blues singers like Son House and Robert Petway and early Classic Rock bands like Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, their sound have lo-fi style in recording and composition, playing the music in a most organic way, the guitar lines incorporate the Mississipi Slide Guitar in a heavy way, while the rhythm session is strogly influenced by jazz and bluegrass. The band released their first album in February 8 named "Mutt".
