Biography
Born Allah alias Daddy Grace, is already a legend indelibly etched in the tablets of underground Hip Hop scrolls. He was first published when he penned a song for the group, “New Kids on the Block” at the age of 14. He later formed his choppy self-assured style as a member of Columbia recording duo, Movement EX alongside legendary DJ King Born. Born Allah started his West Coast domination as one of the many infamous mic controllers from LA's world-renowned Good Life Cafe. As well as being featured in the film about the open mic workshop called, “This is the Life” directed by Ava DuVernay. He is one of the forefathers of a distinctive rhyme delivery and has crafted a style that many has adapted & badly imitated alongside such underground notables as Freestyle Fellowship & Jurassic 5 to name a few. He was a regular on the popular, long running Hip Hop radio program, “The Wake up Show” plus wrote & recorded the theme to their open mic segment of the show called, “The 11 o’clock Battles”. Very popular in the LA underground battle scene, even winning the crown at a Battle hosted by Rap Sheet Magazine. After many features and the release of some hot singles on Ill Boogie Records he returned again with a new group Tabernacle MCz. Today Born Allah has stepped in the arena again as a solo artist with notable releases such as “FYFR2”, “Dub Fritterz”,”Classic” “Westside” & “Hardcore Righteousness”.
