Biography

INOJ (a.k.a Ayanna Porter) is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and vocalist. In 1998, signed to Jermaine Dupri's Columbia-affiliated So So Def label, she released covers of Ready for the World's "Love You Down" and Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" as her first singles. By 25, INOJ had performed around the country reaching the Billboard Top 100 twice with Time After Time and Love You Down. Her debut single Love You Down, a cover of Ready of the World's 1986 hit, that reached #25 in the US. INOJ has a unique sound and a very sweet tone that cements her in pop music and plays on popular top 40 radio stations around the world. As a writer INOJ has collaborated with some of the industries best around the world including Janet Jackson, Kanye West, and Billy Crawford. She went on to write and/or record with Janet Jackson ("My Baby," off 2004's Damita Jo), Billy Crawford ("Nine to Five," off 2007's It's Time), and Chantae Cann ("iChange," off 2016's Journey to Golden). 
 Since 2016 she's released My Love For You, June 2016 worldwide with fans waiting for a return! Later in 16', DJ Essentrik's "Love You Down" cover was a remix that kept her fans moving. INOJ released the 20th anniversary of Love You Down at the end of summer 2017 now one of her most popular releases! In 2018, she is hitting the road while releasing two new songs!
