Biography
Qwote, was born in Haiti and raised by his grandmother in New York City. He met his manager Jullian Boothe (Fast Life Ent) who gave him his first big break appearing on Trina's album, Still da Baddest which topped Billboards Rap album charts, not only as a writer but also an an artist in the song "Phone Sexx. He later went on to feature alongside Pitbull on a minor hit in Austria called "Superstar" by Jump Smokers! Qwote released his first single "Don't Wanna Fight" featuring Trina and it became a hit in New Zealand. His viral sensation "Shawty It's Your Booty” became a hit viral. But it was his single “ Throw your hands up”, an english version of "Vem Dançar Kuduro" (an original credited by Lucenzo / "Danza Kuduro" (an adaptation by Don Omar featuring Lucenzo) that finally positioned him as an international star. Throw your hands up, which is credited to Qwote featuring Pitbull and Lucenzo, charted on the Uk Billboards at #13 and on Australia Billboards at #3. The single received an accredited Platinum award from the ARIA 3 times. Qwote has written for many artist such as Wayne Wonder to Kelly Price and has had major placements from movies like Hostel to tv shows such as Love and Hip, Catfish and many more. He’s now ventured into acting and has just wrapped a film alongside Bob Marleys son Kymani Marley. Not only is he an artist/songwriter/actor but he is also a business owner of the Selfie studio “Selfielife Mia” located in South Miami.
