The sound of Kumiho & her band is an elixir of retro organic sounds and psychedelic electronic instrumentation. The Korean Kumiho is a legendary shapeshifting nine tailed fox that lures her prey and eats their hearts. The premiere album Nine Tales pays homage to the folklore with a morphing sampler of style range - from R&B to Electro-Swing all united by the smokey-honey vocals of Kumiho. Kumiho has teamed up with Sammy Legs as her executive producer and a variety of talented players for her songs and sets. She is a seasoned performer and spices up each show with flapper and burlesque choreography to accent the band’s sizzling tunes.
