Biography

From the avenues of Los Angeles, CA, blossoms the Mexican-American quintet Idle Waves. The band—Diego Alex [vocals], Patrick Caelan [rhythm guitar, vocals], Bryan Muro [lead guitar], Justin Muro [bass], and Ozzy Godoy [drums], joined together towards the end of 2021, when Diego and Bryan began to propagate the idea of starting a new chapter with a new band after seeing humble success in their previous band (formerly known as Alorion). With the inclusion of long time friend, Patrick, and former Alorion members Ozzy and Justin, the 5-piece hard rock outfit gears up for the most compelling chapter of their musical careers yet. 
 With their refreshing blend of soulful vocal tones, Heavy Metal roots, Pop Punk ascendancy, various Hip-Hop/R&B influences, and garnished with Spanish lyrics, Idle Waves demands total captivation of the senses. Their debut single “Our Tragedy” (produced by Will Carlson [Bilmuri, Lauren Babic, Villian Of The Story]), amassed thousands of plays, new fans, additions to popular playlists like Modern Post-Hardcore and New Scene Sunday, has also landed them in the chairs of several podcasts and online reaction videos, even one with the likes of Fronz from the band Attila. 
 With their debut EP “The Heart Of Letting Go” on the way, Idle Waves seeks to provide musical solace to anyone who has ever dealt with personal vices such as substance abuse, insecurities, harmful relationships, and emotional trauma.
