Avdagata became reality at the end of 2020. Sebb Drago (Avsmak), the founder of Avdagata contacted his friend Henric Liljesand (Night Crowned, Cipher System) for help to write & record some songs. The result, 5 song EP Damnatio Cursus, Black Lion Records, 2021. Avdagata developed, the sound is still Blackened Death Metal, explosive riffs, intense melodies, each song is more unique, Avdagata has found a sound of their own. Swedish Extreme Metal revelation Avdagata released the debut album, The Faceless One on June 30th, 2023, via At Dawn Records. For fans of Dissection, Behemoth, Hate this explosive release leaved a lasting impact on the metal scene. Embracing the dark essence of the genre, the nine tracks take listeners on a harrowing journey through the realms of chaos & fire. Avdagata lineup boasts the talents of Sebb Drago on vocals, Allsvart on arrangements, guitars, bass, keys, production, Jaloma on drums Dark Funeral, Night Crowned . To further elevate they worked with guest solo guitarists Christopher Amott (Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy), Dean Paul Arnold (Primalfrost, Vital Remains, Hate, Belphegor) Patrik Gardberg (Solution .45), Bea Jarlgren on guest vocals on Shimmering Black. Final mix & mastering by David Mauritzon at SoundTornado, ensuring a powerful & immersive listening experience.
