Working out of his studios in Los Angeles and Trinidad, Precision Productions is one of the most influential music producers pushing Caribbean music into the global spotlight. Precision first came to LA on an internship as an up-and-coming producer, and quickly emerged as an authority on bringing world-class songwriting and production techniques to Soca music. Precision’s credits and accolades span many genres and countries, including the Soul Train Music Award for Best International Performance, The UK Soca Music Award for Best International Soca Producer, and countless titles at prominent Trinidad and Tobago festivals. His collaborations range from Trinidadian Soca phenoms like Michael Montano to international Billboard artists like Shaggy. As a result of this dedication to Caribbean music, Precision became the first person from Trinidad and Tobago to be invited to serve on the Grammy Nomination Committee for the World Music genre. Precision continues to bring in new sounds that bend genres and expand Soca’s influence outside of his home market. His latest single, Better Thangs with platinum artists Ciara and Summer Walker, is a sample of what to expect in the Trinbagonian producer’s next chapter.
