Khaka Yena, commonly known as GabaCannal, was born in Daveyton and raised inKatlehong, East of Johannesburg is a South African independent Record Label owner, DJ, composer, producer, songwriter, and vocalist. The love of music and growing up in a verymusical family inspired Gaba Cannal to become a self-taught music producer first fell in love with music at the tender age of 14, starting his musical journey as a hip hop producer. After completing his matric, he registered his record label (Gaba Cannal Music) and released his first Solo album in 2015 under his label, titled Feelings. The album made him regarded as one of the pioneers of the AmaPiano genre. The album topped the "Top 100" Traxsource Charts at No.3 in 2 days. Under the Gaba Cannal Music label, the Producer and DJ established a platform signing a few well-known Producers like Kwiish SA (Gong Gong), De Mthuda (Shesha Geza), Da Muziqal Chef, Master Jay, Semi Soul, DJ Mandy, and Mckay Soul.
