Biography
Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Industrial Alternative Metal act CARBONSTONE merges hard hitting guitars with catchy vocal hooks and electronic Synth elements. The band has managed to find its own special sound by carving a niche somewhere in between the melodic heaviness of Nu-Metal and the digital industrial world of Electronica. The band recently released their second full length studio album, Dark Matter spawning three singles (Am Trauma , Hush & Pins & Needles). Am Trauma and Hush both simultaneously held #1 spots on two separate radio stations (107 ROCK WBRR - The Gator & The Sound 228) for well over a month straight. The “Dark Matter” album currently sits with well over 100,000 spins on Spotify alone since being released. “Hush” did quite well on terrestrial radio with the song spinning in multiple countries and charting on The Secondary Market Rock charts alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry. The albums first single, “AM Trauma” (released with an accompanying music video) received much praise and success after being picked up and promoted by record label Pavement Entertainment all summer and fall of 2021. “Dark Matter” follows a string of released singles including a fully reimagined/industrialized version of the classic hit (I Just) Died in Your Arms which even drew the attention and thumbs up by Cutting Crew vocalist himself, Nick Van Eede.
