Biography
After the Calm is a four-piece, alternative rock band based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and consists of Logan Miracle (Vocals), David Nunez (Lead Guitar), Henry Cota Jr. (Bass), and Kody Rattler (Drums). The outfit pulls influence from prominent acts including Thrice, A Day To Remember, and Four Year Strong for a contemporary take on post-hardcore-infused punk rock. Though formed in 2014, After the Calm first broke out onto the scene two years later with the release of their debut EP, ‘Ignus Fatuus.’ What had started as a living room jam session soon progressed to support the likes of I See Stars, I Prevail, and Waterparks. In 2018, the collective even went on to perform a set at the Phoenix, Arizona, stop of the Vans Warped Tour. Now on the heels of their latest single, “Home Sweet Home” (2020), the band are amping up for the release of their sophomore EP "Digital Therapy" July 2nd 2021. Produced by Ryan Daminson (The Word Alive, Asking Alexandria, Memphis May Fire), this next iteration marks their transcendence in both technical and thematic realms. Described as “bigger than life,” the EP boasts polished tracks, lyrical experimentalism, and conceptual leanings.
