Love Shop is a Danish indie-pop / rock band founded in 1986 by Jens Unmack and Hilmer Hassig. The band now consists of Jens Unmack (lead vocal + guitar), Mikkel Damgaard (keys), Mika Vandborg (guitar), Nis Tyrrestrup (bass) and Thomas Duus (drums). Love Shop has a significant role in Danish music history with their distinct sound and flair for writing indie pop songs high on melody combined with dark melancholic rock. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album classic Go! and the 20-year anniversary of their legendary 'Copenhagen Screaming' live-tour in Copenhagen, Love Shop will embark on 'LS Nights' with six sold-out shows at Hotel Cecil this fall. The sophisticated and much loved pop/rock band with a flair for catchy hooks will bring brand new music to the stage, combined with their heavy list of previous records – the first being released over 30 years ago.
