Ever since the release of her debut EP back in 2013, the Swedish songwriter, producer and artist Hanna Järver has steadily grown to become one of the most respected and interesting acts on the alternative Swedish pop scene. After releasing her debut album ’So Long’ back in 2018, Sweden’s biggest daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter described her as ”the young, Swedish voice in pop we need”. The record was released to wide acclaim by the likes of Aftonbladet, Gaffa and Café who named it ”Swedish pop album of the year”. It also lead her to the third P3 Guld nomination of her career and close to 30 live dates only in Sweden. Hanna Järver’s detailed soundscapes are astonishing sceneries to dwell in. The lyrics are often both allegoric and relatable. With a distinctive language, containting both rich imagery and accurate one-liners, Hanna Järver has distinguished herself to be one of the most exciting lyricists in Swedish music of today.
