whatever you do, continue to truthfully express yourself without shame Vanessa Weisz is a multi-genre singer/songwriter/artist from Slovakia. She has been into art since early childhood, writing some of her first lyrics at about 12 but didn’t consider pursuing music until the pandemic hit the globe. In 2021, she put out her first collection of songs (Wisdom Tooth (Mixtape)), which earned her nominations in the Radio_Head Awards in categories “Album of the Year”, “Debut of the Year” and “Song of the Year” from Slovak national radio. In 2022, she was nominated in the “Song of the Year” category with sociopath once again. Her debut album “We Don’t Talk About Dead People”, dedicated to her father that she lost recently, is set to come out sometime in 2023, and she hopes to be able to open up a conversation about honoring our grief and lost loved ones by speaking about them, instead of shying away from the topic of death, if we choose to do so.
