Biography
Westhead is the project of singer, songwriter, and producer Maxwell DiFrisco. With Westhead, DiFrisco crafts each release around themes of growth, relationships, youth, and how to process all of that while taking in the world around him. He combines the musical sensibilities of Laurel Canyon folk crooners, The Beatles, and many indie and alternative acts of the 2000s and 2010s to create an extremely unique baroque-folk-rock palette. DiFrisco is from Chicago, IL, previously leading bands Idioglossia and Jonnycatland. Westhead is now based in Bloomington, IN with support from band members Jimmy Diskin (Guitar, Vocals), Reeder Vyain (Keys), and Braeden Janes (Drums).
