Biography

Youki Kojima is a founding member of TOKA. They are one of the coolest sought-after music production teams in Japan. He has written and produced tracks for cool J-Pop artists... Capeson, Ko Shibasaki, Charisma.com, iri… and also worked on Japanese film scores and music for adverts. Now he has started his own solo project ‘Yaffle’ that he writes and produces but also features international singer songwriters and track makers.He started music professionally while at university after meeting Nariaki Obukuro (OBKR), and they founded Tokyo Recordings. Nariaki recently worked with No.1 Japanese female singer-songwriter, Hikaru Utada as her featured guest vocalist. And Youki has co-written Nariaki’s 1st single to be released from Epic Sony this spring, with Hikaru.
