    Biography

    Railway Suicide Train was established in the summer of 2012 and was originally established in Jiaxing by Zhi Shen. From 2014 to 2019, the band aligned with three members, Shenzhi (Vocal/Guitar/String)，Qiang Xiao (Vocal/Bass) and Wen Li (Drum). Then, the new member Date (Percussion/vocal) join the band. Railway Suicide Train released the first EP Wake up from Foolish Dream in 2014. In 2016, they signed with Ruby Eyes Music and Released the first Full-length album Aftermath, which was nominated for the "Abey Deer Music Award" that year. Railway Suicide Train has been exploring new expressions. With the addition of new members, the Railway Suicide Train escaped from the sweet trap of bitter Chinese pop songs, and stepped into the exploration of experimental sound and artistic performance without hesitation, using images, installations, and physical performance. The band's second full-length album "Continent" was released in July 2020.
