Biography

ReUnited was founded on a sunny day in 2009 by Christian Rosén. Originally a project to release quality cover versions of classic dance hits and a haven for him to be more involved as A&R. Christian is also the founder of Lifted House which he created in 1991 so he was already experienced in the music industry with a wide network and knowledge. The first release was “Sun Is Shining”. He had released the original by Bob Marley and Funkstar De Luxe in 1999 and got tired of all the rights issues and decided to create his own version. The single got an outstanding reception and while the Funkerman remix ruled the dancefloors, the Gauzz Chill Remix conquered the beach resorts and ended up an anthem on Café Del Mar. The feedback was enormous and overwhelming, so Christian decided to continue the project and cover more classics like “Sing It Back”, “In The Music”, “Hideaway”, Rapture” and many more. In 2014 the producer Jesper Sidelmann joined and ReUnited had now become a duo. Sidelmann has been producing for Lifted for almost two decades and it came as a logical progression as Christian was looking into producing original songs and not only covers. They have since collaborated with artists like Nadia Gattas, Terri B!, Aero, Benedicté, Fura and domestic legend Anne Dorte Michelsen. The next years will see more original songs but the guys have no rulebooks so always expect the unexpected!
