Biography
Strawberry Girls is an instrumental trio originally from Salinas, California featuring Ben Rosett (Eternity Forever), Zac Garren (formerly of Dance Gavin Dance) and Ian Jennings (ex-The Trees). They've toured with bands such as Polyphia, CHON, Intervals, Dance Gavin Dance, The Fall Of Troy, The Contortionist, Thank You Scientist, Veil of Maya, and mewithoutYou. They recently released their fifth full length record titled “Prussian Gloom”. In the works for 2023 is a 10 Year Anniversary Edition of French Ghetto (completely new recordings) and a brand new album. "The band is aptly named after 80’s post-punk song “Christine”, by Siouxsie & the Banshees, which was written about the real life patient Christine Sizemore who was portrayed by Joanne Woodward in the 1957 movie The Three Faces of Eve. In the movie, Christine interweaves three distinct personalities, similar to how Strawberry Girls blends genres. It’s a fitting name to a band that has effortlessly intertwined dynamic changes in their songs for four LP’s and will continue to do so on their next one."
