For the last ten years, LA-based Blue Broderick has been making daydreamy guitar pop as Diners, outlining her optimistic worldview within the simple catchiness and charming style of ‘60s luminaries like Harry Nilsson and Brian Wilson. However, on DOMINO, her energetic new album on Bar/None Records, she’s taken a turn toward overdriven, uptempo power pop, applying her affirming lyricism to an unabashed rock record.
