Emerging from the rich Austin, Texas heavy rock scene, High Desert Queen are a one of a kind stoner rock force. Helping brand "Texas Desert Rock," the band draws from an eclectic backdrop of influences ranging from Kyuss and Alice In Chains to Queens of the Stone Age by way of Tom Waits and The Allman Brothers Band. This has led to a sound that takes listeners on a journey across the open road, from the badlands of Big Bend all the way to Joshua Tree. Having started with the goal of writing the type of music they wanted to hear, High Desert Queen have become the sound of "Texas Desert Rock" on the rise.
