Biography

Blind Stare is a melodic and symphonic death metal band formed 1999 by Anders Öström, Heikki Raisio and Henry Valkonen. Current members are Anders Öström (composing, guitars and backing vocals), Eino Tuominen (growl vocals), Jaakko Lehtinen (guitars and clean vocals), Timo Palokankare (Drums), Tuomas Riihimäki (Keyboards) and Ossi Elonen (Bass). The band has currently 2 albums, Symphony of Delusions (2004, Arise Records) and Dividing Line (2012, Inverse Records). Blind Stare has been in a creative pause since 2012, but has activated again 2019, at least in some form (new song and live shows), to celebrate 20 years of metal.
