Biography
KREIDLER are Thomas Klein, Alexander Paulick, Andreas Reihse, Detlef Weinrich. Based in Berlin and Düsseldorf, Europe. KREIDLER'S album Riva was released in 1994. The first of 28 releases to date, with the latest FLOOD in Fall 2019. www.ikreidler.de KREIDLER play in techno clubs, in rock venues, in concert halls. At festivals like Sonar, Roskilde, Nrmal, SXSW, or Cervantino. KREIDLER performed in museums and art galleries e.g. for Mike Kelley, or for Andreas Gursky in MoMA NYC and in Centre Pompidou Paris; with Rosemarie Trockel, Thea Djordjadze and singer Asmik Grigorian they collaborated in a show at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. KREIDLER produced sound installations at Transmediale, Image Movement, italic, Metakino Helsinki, and participated in Kuball’s Res-o-nant at Jewish Museum Berlin. KREIDLER'S worked e.g. with Klaus Dinger (NEU!), Add (N) to X, Young Gods, Leo Garcia, Chicks on Speed, or Anika. They remixed e.g. Einstürzende Neubauten, Depeche Mode, Edward, Faust, or Eurythmics. KREIDLER music has graced catwalks of Lagerfeld, Chanel, Lacoste, 22/4 Hommes Femmes, or Giles Deacon. The band worked with authors like Jacob Wren, Momus, Mark von Schlegell, or Sibylle Berg. KREIDLER composed soundtracks for movies like Remote Area, The Last Hijack and it's online version, that was awarded with a Digital Emmy. KREIDLER has an ongoing co-op with Heinz Emigholz: he directed 7 videos, the band wrote scores for The Airstrip, 2+2=22, The Last City and upcoming Berlin Underground.
