Biography

Kasper Granroth is a Finnish musician, DJ, producer and founder of Lost Favourite Records. Granroth is known from his musical releases as Kasper G, Loverse and from touring as the drummer & musical director for the Finnish pop-sensation ALMA. Granroth's music has been picked up by DJ's around the world, heard on such stations as BBC1, Rinse FM and featured in publications such as Highsnobiety, Mixmag and DJMag. After establishing his label LFR, Granroth started doing songwriting sessions and hosting club nights in Berlin, resulting in features on SoundCloud, Majestic Casual, Beatport and collaborations with various artists, such as the multiplatinum and Grammy-winning producer John 'P*nut' Harrison. In 2020, Granroth released the 12” LP titled Luvattu EP (Finnish for “Promised”) under LFR, the vinyl is free to sample for all artists with the label “Enjoy sampling this vinyl for further recordings by donating all income into charity.” Other musical undertakings by Granroth worth to mention are such as Elite Tennis Club, Backhaus, Fella Sleep and Issa Vibe club nights. 2023 started with globally supported dance music releases, to be balanced with a soothing EP from Loverse, titled 'Tonight'.
