Eran Tzur is one of the most respected Israeli singer-songwriters. He writes lyrics in Hebrew that touch the invisible border of poetry and rock style. With his special low vocals, he tends to deal with key issues in Israeli society in Hebrew like Israeli identity, Jewish identity, and sexual identity. Starting his career in the late 80s, Eran joined "Tatoo" band, together with friends Yuval Mesner, Uri Balak and Alona Daniel. Later he established the well-respected "Carmela Gross Wagner". Tzur wrote most of the songs in the bands two LPs including hits like "KAITZ", "PERACH SHAHOR", "EREV B' KISLEV". Eran Tzur's solo course spreads from the mid 90s to nowadays, with 5 successful albums, diverse collaborations with various artists and countless performances all over the country. He's well known for dealing with poets' songs and recorded a whole album of Yona Vollach's songs. In 2004 Eran Tzur published his first book "Ashman's House".
